Heralded for his “considerable chops” (Jazz Times Magazine) and “a creative spark that never lets up,” (Rochester City Paper) saxophonist, composer and educator, Edmonton native Jeff Antoniuk defines his musical life by creating and expanding community, whether improvising a solo, connecting with an audience, or in his numerous workshops and master classes. His Digging Deeper Jazz videos on You Tube and Facebook have surpassed over two million views.

An Eastman Saxophones artist, Jeff is internationally respected as both a master performer and as an engaging and inspirational educator. He has received numerous awards and commissions, and has produced more than ten critically-acclaimed albums over the past several decades. Now based in Maryland, he is currently the Artistic Director of both Maryland Summer Jazz and Jazz Band Masterclass.

Also a busy sideman, Jeff has played with or led bands with such luminaries as fellow saxophonists Ralph Bowen and Walt Weiskopf, drummers Sherrie Maricle and Warren Wolf, pianist Helen Sung, bassists Jimmy Haslip and Marcus Miller, and trumpet players Tim Hagans and Ingrid Jensen.
